The Advance Authorization Scheme is implemented and managed by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) in accordance with the Foreign Trade Policy. This program permits the duty-free import of inputs for export. The DGFT has developed a user-friendly and searchable database of Ad-hoc Norms fixed in previous years in order to increase the efficiency of the norms fixation process. The exporter or general public can go to the DGFT Website to access the database.
