Greece's Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has won a majority and been chosen for a second term. Based on the preliminary count of about 96 percent of the votes, New Democracy, led by Mitsotakis, received more than 40 percent of the votes, guaranteeing them a minimum of 158 seats out of the 300 total seats in parliament.
