NASA and the Israel Space Agency have partnered to launch ULTRASAT, Israel's first telescope mission, into a geostationary orbit in early 2026. With its broad field of view, the ultra-violet observatory will be able to swiftly gather ultraviolet light from sources of short-duration space events, like supernovae and neutron star mergers.
