According to a recent study, Canada's e-waste has increased threefold over the past 20 years. In 2020, there will be 25.3 kilograms of electronic waste generated per person, up from 8.3 kilograms in 2000. Canadians generated almost a million tonnes of electronic waste in 2020. By 2030, it's anticipated that this will increase to 1.2 million tonnes annually.
