Recently, the Arunachal Pradesh District Good Governance Index (DGGI) was published. This is the first DGGI for an Indian state in the northeast. The Index evaluates governance in each of Arunachal Pradesh's 25 districts based on 65 indicators organized into 8 sectors. It was created by the Arunachal Pradesh government and the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
