The Prime Minister's Internship Scheme was introduced lately with the goal of increasing young people's employability in India by providing them with real-world business experience. Over the course of five years, it hopes to provide internships to one crore young people in the top 500 corporations. Through an online site, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs will supervise the experimental project. The government will pay interns ?4,500 a month, while businesses will contribute an additional ?500 through corporate social responsibility. Additionally, insurance under PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana will be offered, along with a one-time reward of ?6,000.
