The brightest and fastest-growing quasar to date, J0529-4351, was discovered, according to astronomers. A supermassive black hole with a mass 17 billion times that of the Sun is present in this quasar. Supermassive black holes at the center of galaxies provide energy for quasars, which are active galactic nuclei (AGNs). AGNs are not all quasars, which form in high-mass density regions. Quasars are incredibly bright and strong cosmic objects that are produced when active galaxies consume a large amount of matter, which causes spiraling accretion disks to form.
