China National Space Administration pronounced the launch of the Queqiao-2 satellite a total triumph. With a 4.2-meter parabolic antenna and a weight of 1,200 kg, Queqiao-2, also known as Magpie Bridge 2, will allow communication between Earth and lunar probes until 2030. Supported by EUC, GENA, and LOVEX science payloads, it will enable the Chang'e-6, -7, and -8 missions. Tiandu-1 and Tiandu-2, two CubeSats equipped with communication and navigation systems, will also circle the moon.
