The 50 MW Gujrai solar power station in Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh, provides commercial electricity supply to the state-run SJVN. The project, which SJVN carried out at a cost of Rs 281 crore through its renewable arm SGEL, is currently operational. With ten power plants, SJVN has a total installed power capacity of 2,277 MW. It is anticipated that the Gujrai station will produce 107 million units in its first year of operation, totaling 2,477 million units of energy over a 25-year period. This will bring in approximately Rs 32 crore in revenue annually.
