After a 4-year hiatus, the Kodava Hockey Festival will be held in the Karnataka town of Napoklu. The annual competition is the biggest field hockey competition in the world. Every year, more than 200 families send players to the inter-family hockey tournament held by the Kodava community in the hilly area. Being from the same family is the only requirement for joining a team.
