Which state is the initiator of the 'Kalaignar Sports Kit' scheme?

In honor of M. Karunanidhi's centennial of birth, Sports Development and Youth Welfare Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin launched the 'Kalaignar Sports Kit' initiative, distributing sporting goods to 12,000 village panchayats. The program, which aims to assist young athletes, kicks off in Tiruchi, Tamil Nadu on February 7. Udhayanidhi highlighted that the government is just as committed to supporting sports as it is to providing books for education. He commended Khelo India 2023 for spotting and developing more than 5,400 gifted athletes in a range of sports, increasing India's ability to compete internationally.
