Which state has seen the successful commissioning of India's largest battery energy storage system by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited?

The World Bank and Clean Technology Fund-funded SECI successfully put India's largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) into operation in Chhattisgarh. Battery storage is used in this project to store solar energy for evening peak demand. It has bifacial solar panels, which increase the amount of electricity generated by capturing both direct and reflected light. This invention is expected to save tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year, which is a huge advancement in renewable energy sources.
