Every year on April 23, there is a celebration of World Book and Copyright Day to encourage the practice of writing, publishing, and copyright. In 1995, the first World Book Day was celebrated. From 2022 to 2032, there will be an international celebration of indigenous languages. Indigenous Languages is the UNESCO World Book Day 2023 theme.
