Using video conferences, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe, and Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth of Mauritius launched RuPay card services in Mauritius and Unified Payment Interface (UPI) services in Sri Lanka. The co-branded RuPay card was introduced by Mr. Jugnauth as the domestic card of Mauritius. By improving connectivity and economic ties between the nations, this initiative hopes to make life easier for their respective populations. The president of Sri Lanka praised the long-standing economic ties while congratulating Modi on the dedication of the Shri Ram Mandir.
