The world's first Om-shaped temple, the 250-acre 'Om Aakar,' opened in the Pali district of Jadan, Rajasthan. Its elaborate design and Nagara style pay homage to the history of North India. Standing 135 feet tall with 2,000 pillars and 108 rooms, it houses 1,008 idols of Lord Mahadev and 12 Jyotirlingas. A Dholpur rhinestone shivling adorns the top. Seen from space, a 2 lakh tonne tank accentuates its grandeur.
