Who has been appointed as president of the Indian Vaccine Manufacturers Association?

Co-founder of Bharat Biotech Krishna M. Ella is currently leading the Indian Vaccine Manufacturers Association for the 2024–2026 term. He takes over as CEO of Serum Institute of India (SII) from Adar C. Poonawalla. Ella seeks to promote cooperation between researchers, manufacturers, and policymakers in order to accelerate the development of vaccines and increase their production. IVMA also places a high priority on providing developing countries with affordable vaccine access. During the Covid-19 pandemic, SII, led by Poonawalla, invented the Covishield vaccination.
