Introduced by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is the assault rifle known as "Ugram." In partnership with a for-profit business and the Armament Research and Development Establishments (ARDE), a Pune-based DRDO laboratory, the DRDO developed the rifle. The "Ugram" is a 500-meter-range rifle with a 7.62 x 51 mm caliber that weighs less than four kilograms. "Fierce" is how the name "Ugram" means. The purpose of the rifle is to serve law enforcement, the military, and paramilitary forces. Along with developing defense technologies, the DRDO also provides support for other products and technologies. Along with these significant systems and technologies, the DRDO has developed small arms, artillery systems, missile systems, UAVs, aircraft avionics, and small arms.
