India's Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, unveiled the prototype launch of M100 (100% methanol) and the pilot trial of MD15 buses. MD15 refers to buses that run on diesel with 15% methanol. BMTC, NITI Aayog, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), and Ashok Leyland collaborated on the project.
