The GDP forecast for India for the fiscal year 2023–2024 has been lowered by 10 basis points, from 6.4 percent to 6.3 percent, by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This revision has been made in response to a slowdown in exports and potential disruptions in agricultural output brought on by erratic rainfall patterns. The 6.7 percent GDP prediction for the fiscal year 2024–2025 is unchanged.
