The government has decided to impose an anti-dumping duty on cast aluminum alloy wheels from which country?

Cast aluminum alloy wheels (ARWs) from China were subject to an anti-dumping duty by the Indian Finance Ministry in March 2024. The duty varied based on the manufacturer and ranged from $0.23 to $1.71 per kilogram. The obligation lasts for five years. According to the Directorate General of Trade Remedies, despite the current anti-dumping duties, applicants have provided proof of dumping of the Chinese product. Before the five years are up, the DGTR can assess whether the duty still needs to be imposed.
