What is a ‘Homosep Atom?

Homosep Atom, India's first septic tank cleaning robot, was created by Solinas, a startup housed at IIT Madras, to solve problems with manual scavenging. With its end-to-end sewer cleaning solutions, cost savings, and promotion of robotic cleaning, the DST-TBI-supported innovation is available in 16 cities. Solinas is an expert in climate tech and deep tech solutions. Some of their products include tiny robots that solve problems with water and sanitation. Their technologies, such as Swasth AI and Endobot, act as diagnostic tools, detecting and resolving blockages, sewer overflows, and water contamination. This promotes environmental sustainability and societal development.
