A training launch of the Prithvi-II short-range ballistic missile by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) from the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur off the coast of Odisha was successful. According to the Defense Ministry, the missile hit its target very precisely. The Prithvi-II missile, which has a range of about 350 kilometers, had all of its operational and technical parameters successfully validated by the user training launch.
