The 82-kilometer Padma Bridge Rail Link, Bangladesh's largest infrastructure project completed under China's Belt and Road Initiative, was officially opened by Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday. The Exim Bank of China is lending Taka 21,036.70 crore toward the project's estimated cost of Taka 39,246.80 crore.
