The "Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector" program is the basis for the operation of SAMARTH, or Smart Advanced Manufacturing and Rapid Transformation Hub. These centers assist MSMEs through planning Industry 4.0-related events, educating the public through awareness-raising programs, providing consulting services in fields like IoT, software development, and data analytics, and helping new businesses get off the ground. They also support workforce development and technological advancement.
