An information-stealing malware called Raccoon Stealer is typically sent via email. Eight central government agencies in India were targeted with it, including the IT Department and the central paramilitary forces. The National Security Advisor's specialized intelligence organization, the National Technical Research Organization (NTRO), wrote to the affected agencies to inform them of the attack.
